GI-ESCR welcomes the Open Letter submitted to the Government of Indonesia, ahead of the 4th Finance Minister Meetings of the G20.

The joint letter, signed by more than 35 partners, including Ministers of Education, civil society organisations, coalitions, partnerships, multilateral and regional bodies, invites Indonesia, in its role as G20 President, to ensure that the commitment to protect, prioritise and increase education finance is included within the Leaders’ Declaration, as well as guaranteeing that financing mechanisms are fully funded.
