GI-ESCR participated in the mobilisation day against the commercialisation of education
GI-ESCR and its partners, within the framework of the Francophone Network against the Commercialisation of Education, organised the 2nd edition of the mobilisation day against the commercialisation of education on Thursday, September 22, 2022 around the theme: "The state of the privatisation of education in Francophone Africa, mutual assessment".

This important day was marked by the interventions of government representatives and CONFEMEN; the presentation of a synthesis document summarising the research work of Francophone civil society on the issue of privatisation of education in Côte d'Ivoire, Madagascar, Mali and Senegal.
The document was developed with the technical support of GI-ESCR together with its partner Coalition Education in the framework of the Réseau francophone contre la marchandisation de l'éducation.
A series of workshops enabled participants to built together recommendations towards the right to public education for all.
