GI-ESCR Executive Director Magdalena Sepúlveda participated in UNRISD flagship report launch

GI-ESCR Executive Director Magdalena Sepúlveda was pleased to join the panel in the launch of UNRISD 2022 Flagship Report on 21 October at the Palais des Nations in Geneva.

Watch the recording of the event in which special guests dove into UNRISDreport’s vision for a new eco-social contract and an alternative development model that calls for transforming economic systems, implementing universal social policies, and strengthening solidarity and multilateralism across the globe.

Report authors Katja Hujo (Senior Research Coordinator, UNRISD) and Maggie Carter (Senior Research Analyst, UNRISD) presented the report’s key messages, followed by interventions from Shahra Razavi, Director of the International Labour Organization’s (ILO) Social Protection Department, Magdalena Sepúlveda Carmona, Executive Director of the Global Initiative for Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (GI–ESCR), and Masana Mulaudzi, Programmes Director of Sonke Gender Justice. UNRISD Director Paul Ladd then led an interactive discussion with the audience.
