This study makes an inventory of the state of application of CEDAW provisions on women’s land and property rights, presents and analyzes the status of the non-application of the Convention, evaluates knowledge of judges of first instance on the use of CEDAW in the context of litigation, and offers recommendations for better implementation of the Convention.
