Moving the ESCR agenda in the Euro-Mediterranean region in COVID-19 times

On 9 and 10 July 2020, GI-ESCR is participating in a workshop organised by EuroMed Rights, a network of more than 80 human rights organisations, institutions and individuals based in 30 countries in the Euro-Mediterranean region. GI-ESCR is a member of the economic, social and cultural rights (ESCR) working group, that is discussing the strategy for the next steps of the joint work.

A range of issues relevant to the region are discussed, including in particular the role of public services, which is one of the key areas of work for GI-ESCR. An action plan should be concretised as a result of these discussions.
