GI-ESCR bids Farewell to Michelle Bachelet

The Human Rights Council held a farewell for UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Ms Michelle Bachelet, in light of the end of her mandate. The farewell, which took place during the Council’s organisational meeting ahead of the 51st session, highlighted the legacy and achievements of Ms. Bachelet’s mandate over the past four years.

GI-ESCR delivered an oral statement during the session thanking the High Commissioner for her unwavering efforts and commitment to the respect, protection, promotion and fulfilment of economic, social and cultural rights.
