GI-ESCR and partners present Abidjan Principles to the African Committee of Experts on the Rights and Welfare of the Child

This 03 December 2020, GI-ESCR, ISER and EACHRights presented together the Abidjan Principles to the African Committee of Experts on the Rights and Welfare of the Child (ACERWC). They also discussed how the Committee can use these principles in its reviews and normative work, and how this can be adapted to different contexts on the continent.

The African Committee of Experts on the Rights and Welfare of the Child draws its mandate from articles 32-46 of the African Charter on the Rights and Welfare of the Child.
