Webinar series ‘Social Rights and the Constitutional Process: (re)imagining the Chile of the 21st century’

In the context of the constituent process that Chile is experiencing, Ahora nos Toca Participar, the Global Initiative for Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, Avina and Contexto, are organizing a webinar series on "Social Rights and the Constitutional Process: (re) imagining the Chile of the 21st century". The main objective is to generate spaces for dialogue and debate with an inclusive participation across sectors to reflect on the social pact we dream of for the coming decades together with different civil society organizations at the national and international level. We will discuss the possibilities of building a new social pact in the context of COVID-19 by addressing a wide range of key issues, such as the justiciability of ESCR, fiscal justice, the right to social security, the right to housing, the right to health, the right to healthy environment, gender and indigenous issues.  In order to make our webinars inclusive for all, all of them will consider sign lenguage interpreter.

Join this civil society initiative to explore together all these issues, (re) think about our common future and plan our actions to follow!
