Today: Joint Oral Statement made to the Human Rights Council on rights-based approach to sustainable development

Today in Geneva, GI-ESCR attended the Human Rights Council’s inter-sessional meeting on the Sustainable Development Agenda and human rights (https://www.ohchr.org/EN/Issues/SDGS/Pages/HRCIntersessionalMeeting.aspx). 

Together with our colleagues at Franciscans International, the Center for Economic and Social Rights and ATD Fourth World, we delivered the following Oral Statement which emphasizes the importance of a rights-based approach to sustainable development that also addresses climate change.
