We have teamed up with Goodwings as part of an initiative to reduce emissions across our work and travel.

We received our Climate Impact Certificate from Goodwings, which shows exactly how much CO2 we’ve reduced and removed using biofuel and verified removal offsets. We know we have a responsibility to do everything we can to reduce and report on the impact of our travel, and we’re proud to be doing this with Goodwings.

 What is Goodwings?

 Goodwings is an impact-driven hotel platform that makes it easy and affordable to have their travel emissions removed through verified nature-based removal projects.

 How does it work?

 When you book a hotel, Goodwings automatically calculates your travel emissions, including flights, transfers, accommodation and meals, but also makes suggestions for how you can reduce these across your entire trip. Goodwings then registers and removes your travel emissions through sustainable forestry projects in degraded grasslands, which are VCS verified and validated by the Rainforest Alliance.

 Their current project in Uruguay spans an area of 23,000 hectares and removes approximately 56,000 tons of CO2 from the atmosphere every year. Not only do their projects go through rigorous third-party monitoring and testing to ensure carbon removal, soil quality, and forest health, but they also provide jobs and improve the livelihoods of local communities.

 We have a critical role to play in mitigating the effects of climate change, for the benefit of us all and for future generations. That is why we have chosen to partner with Goodwings, so that together we can be a force for positive climate action!
