New toolkit: Leveraging The UN Human Rights Treaty Bodies For Climate Campaigning: A Toolkit For Activists And Campaigners
The human rights mechanisms can be a valuable advocacy avenue to support climate campaigns. However, for many organisations, engaging with the United Nations human rights mechanisms can be a challenge. That is why GI-ESCR, in partnership with the Centre for International Environmental Law (CIEL), have put together a new toolkit for climate activists and campaigners.
This new resource provides information on the opportunities offered by the UN human rights treaty body State reporting procedures and advice on how to submit information in a way that is most likely to secure recommendations regarding climate policies.
