As a rapid response to COVID-19 pandemic, GI-ESCR launched a blog series in March 2020 to encourage debates on how to address the crisis from a human rights respective. 45 authors contributed to it between April and October 2020, all stressing the importance of putting economic, social and cultural rights, climate change and gender equality at the centre of policy responses to the pandemic.

GI-ESCR decided to gather and share these thoughts in a publication summarising all contributions by theme. You can therefore still browse the blog by author but also by topic, in the publication as well as on the webpage.

This publication is the 2nd edition of GI-ESCR’s series Pushing the frontiers of economic, social and cultural rights.
